Smith Park, named in honor of Mayor J. Fred Smith is located on the east side of Rexburg. It is extremely popular with our community because of the location and many great features the park has to offer, including an antique steam engine display and a gazebo.
Summer in Smith Park is alive with activities and events including art and concert programs, youth baseball and soccer games, the Teton DAM Marathon finish line, and more. The park remains busy during the winter months with a small sledding hill and cleared walking path. The featured winter event is the Rexburg SnowFEST held each year on the fourth Saturday in January.
