The City has adopted the 2003 International Building Codes, the 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code, and the 2005 National Electric Code. Plans submitted for Commercial projects must be stamped by a licensed Idaho architect or engineer. All construction projects must comply with city building codes and ordinances.

Each category or "packet" contains all applications and forms that apply to the category listed. These "packets" can also be picked up at City Hall.

The permitting process takes approximately 4 weeks from initial application to issuance of the permit. The process can be longer depending on backlog. The permit process is on a first come first serve basis.
