The Tabernacle is Rexburg's iconic symbol of community. Built in 1911 by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, it was purchased by the City of Rexburg following the Teton Dam Flood in 1976. The community has rallied multiple times to restore this structure and time has come once again to retain that legacy.

Experience the story of water in the Upper Snake River Valley and the impact of the 1976 Teton Dam flood in a powerful and personal way. Designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the flood, this new interactive exhibit is more than a historical display; it is a tribute to the resilience, unity, and determination of a community bound together through tragedy, service, and hope.

ROMANCE THEATER - 2 E. Main Street, Rexburg, ID
Prominently located on the corner of Center and Main Streets, the Romance Theater has been at the heart of Downtown Rexburg for over a century. The regal Art-Deco-inspired theater creates a unique ambiance for events of all types and sizes. The auditorium features a stage for performances, backstage dressing rooms, a projector screen, and a new sound system. The open lobby offers a stately hosting area for concessions or catering and can comfortably accommodate up to 50 guests for a seated dinner. The auditorium has a 385-seat capacity.
TABERNACLE CIVIC CENTER - 51 North Center Street, Rexburg, ID
Built in 1911, the Historic Rexburg Tabernacle is an iconic symbol of community. Home to several performing groups, this long-established gathering place features original wood bench seating, a pressed-tin domed ceiling, captivating pipe organ, updated sound system and remarkable acoustics. As an open stage, it does not have concealed wings, however there is access to dressing areas backstage. The auditorium has an 800-seat capacity.
Contract Fees:
$50— application fee non-refundable
$TBD — security deposit (typically ½ of total contract) refundable, without overages or damage
Building Rental Rates:
Facility rates include the use of designated rooms, and two required staff.

$100/hour— non-profit organizations & student recitals

Additional Production/Service Rates:
Additional services required for your event will be determined by Office Manager during contract meeting.
$35— tech/person/hour
$25— staff/person/hour
$150— outside food fee
$200+—ticket handling, plus processing fees
Under the direction of authorized staff, additional house equipment is available when specified on an approved contract.
