U-Parking Permits
U-Parking Permits are available for any student, faculty, or person otherwise needing a parking permit in the University district. They allow parking on the city streets surrounding BYU-Idaho campus. The map above provides a general idea with U-Parking Permit areas marked in red. For exact locations look for the marked signs on each street. The U-Parking Permit may be purchased online from the City of Rexburg for daytime street parking in designated areas.
U-Permits are available for purchase a month before the semester starts for $40.00 or annually for $100.00 each (pro-rated by semester).
Annual Parking Permits are good for the calendar year - January through December.
U-Parking Permit must be purchased online. Once purchased, the website will provide pickup instructions. Please note:
U-Parking Permits are daytime use permits for designated parking zones. They are required Monday through Friday from 8 am - 5 pm.
Evening, early morning, and holiday hour parking does not require a permit.
*Overnight street parking is prohibited from December 15th through March 1st to allow snow removal and winter maintenance.
*Parking on city streets for longer than 48 hours is not permitted and the vehicle will be considered abandoned. Any vehicle found to be in violation of this ordinance will be subject to a ticket and/or tow at the owner's expense. This includes all vehicles, with or without a Parking Permit, on all city streets.
