Did you know...our Mayor, Jerry Merrill, participated in the Blue Cross Foundation's Mayor's Walking Challenge grant last fall? To do this, he had to walk over 10,000 steps Every Day in October to qualify! In turn, he received a grant for $1,000 that he was able to donate to the non-profit in our community of his choice. He chose the Madison School District to help the middle school purchase new student health and fitness equipment. We're excited to support our local school district with this grant and we're proud of Mayor Merrill for his dedication to the cause! We look forward to all the fun the kids will have with the new gear in the future.
