Visual Art Classes

All of our art classes are designed to be enjoyable for all skill levels!

  • All classes are taught at an introductory level.

    • Participants may experiment with techniques to meet their skill level!

    • Each participant will be able to bring home their completed painting from each class

  • All supplies are included in the cost!

    • Kids & Teens: $12.00

    • Adult: $17.00

  • Space is limited to 10 students, please reserve your seat in advance!

    • To reserve a space, open the class, peruse the offerings on different dates, and sign up!

Kids Art Exploration Classes

K-4th Graders  -  Tuesdays 3-4pm

10 spaces in each class @ $12/participant

All classes are led by instructor demonstration.   All supplies are included in class fees.  All ticket sales are final.  Students are expected to be able to respectfully follow instruction and sit through short demonstration moments. "Creatures of the Sea"

June 22-25, 2026:

11am - Noon morning session

1pm - 2pm afternoon session

June Art Camp

June 22nd -25th 11:00-12:00 morning session and 1:00-2:00 Afternoon session

Camp Fee: $60 includes all four class sessions and supplies

Please Join us for an immersive and fun art experience. This month we will be hosting a 4-day art camp themed to explore the many creatures of the sea. Each class will be a standalone project, allowing students to really dive in and explore the art subject.

Monday Day 1: Octopus- We will be jumping into camp this week with one of the oceans most whimsical creatures.

Tuesday Day 2: Sea Shells- Today we’ll explore the shape, color and texture of our shelled friends.

Wednesday Day 3: Whale- Dive deep today as we paint a magical moonlit whale.

Thursday Day 4: Coral Reef- explore the fascinating life that blooms like a sea garden as we paint a tropical reef.

"Masters and Mayhem"

July 27 - 30, 2026:

5th-12th Graders - Wednesday June 24    7-8pm

" Lighthouse"

6/24/2026: 7pm - 8pm

Today we will be exploring s seaside theme while painting a lighthouse. Students will complete the entire painting in this session and will have a finished piece of work to bring home.

Art Classes for Adults

Ages 18+

10 spaces in each class @ $17.00/participant

Classes are held on Thursdays, both mornings at 10 am and evenings at 7pm!

Each class is led by short instructor demonstrations through each step and technique of the entire project.

June: The Way of Water

Week 1: This week we will explore painting creatures of the deep sea. A whale of an adventure as we lead you through the discovery of new techniques, and a complete project in one class.

Week 2: Today we will be exploring s seaside theme while painting a lighthouse.

July: En Plein Air

Week 1- Adults: Nature Park- Please plan on meeting on the far north section of the park. You will drive past the pickleball courts, skate park, and pond to the left until you reach a pavilion at the end.

Week 2- Adults: BYUI (Thomas E Ricks) Gardens- Please note that school is still in session during this week- Parking can be found in several locations around the Benson Building, and Kimball building, Please plan enough time to find parking and meet in the center of the gardens.

These classes are for artists of all experience levels but designed with beginners in mind. Each class is led by short instructor demonstrations through each step and technique of the entire project.
