Visual Art Classes

All of our art classes are designed to be enjoyable for all skill levels!

  • All classes are taught at an introductory level.

    • Participants may experiment with techniques to meet their skill level!

    • Each participant will be able to bring home their completed painting from each class

  • All supplies are included in the cost!

    • Kids & Teens: $12.00

    • Adult: $17.00

  • Space is limited to 10 students, please reserve your seat in advance!

    • To reserve a space, open the class, peruse the offerings on different dates, and sign up!

Kids Art Exploration Classes

K-4th Graders  - 

Classes: Tuesdays 3p-4pm

10 spaces in each class @ $12/participant

All classes are led by instructor demonstration.   All supplies are included in class fees.  All ticket sales are final.  Students are expected to be able to respectfully follow instruction and sit through short demonstration moments. If you have any questions or concerns about the class or your child’s readiness to take this class, please reach out to us.

Monthly Theme: Fall into art

(spud Harvest September 28th-October 2nd)

Week 1: October 6th –Map Making

Join us as we create adventuresome fantasy maps, a portal of creativity and adventure!

Week 2: October 13th -Spiders

The only spider you’ll ever want inside your house, join us as we learn to watercolor these fascinating creatures.

Week 3: October 20th -Fall Mountains

Fall Mountains: Join us as we paint a stunning fall scene, a layered mountain scape.

Week 4: October 27th – Ghosts

Join us as we paint some playful ghosts, who knows what we will capture these friendly beings doing!

Art Classes for Adults

Ages 18+

10 spaces in each class @ $17.00/participant

Classes are held on Thursdays, both mornings at 10 am and evenings at 7pm!

Each class is led by short instructor demonstrations through each step and technique of the entire project.

September Month Long theme: Once upon a September: a journey through fairytale and adventure

Week 3: Peek into the world of faeries and magical nights as we explore a fairie hill and the ancient things one sees at such a place.

Week 4: Today we’ll be creating mythical maps- using organic material to determine our land shapes and sizes, delving into symbology, legends, aging techniques and more!

An introduction to glazing techniques and negative painting, this class explores one of the fundamental ways watercolor artists capture luminosity and realistic perspectives in paintings.
